This was our birthday present to you - a brand new big girl bike! A brand new one, not a hand-me-down, just for you. It still has training wheels right now but Daddy promised that he will teach you to ride it without training wheels soon... because you're 5 years old now! :)

We love sushi! Oh yes we do! However, it would cost us a fortune if we
went out for sushi regularly. So we make it at home. I don't trust
myself to handle raw fish though so I mostly use smoked salmon.Tonight,
you girls helped me prepare the sushi, mixing the rice and putting the
stuff in before I rolled it up.
This project began as a challenge to record my family's daily life for a year by taking one photo a day. It was not as successful as I wanted it to be. After taking off for about a year, I am embarking on this photographic journey once more. I hope that these pictures will be visual cues to the memories we've built together as a family.
