As luck would have it, the TV show, Lost, was having a world premiere event of their final season right at Waikiki beach. Of course I was going to be there! Saw some of the stars. Watched the premiere episode. All I can say is: mind-boggling! I love it!!
10 years! What a ride it's been!! Blessed beyond measure!
Aloha!! Our first night in Oahu to celebrate 10 years of marriage. It was our first time in 10 years to be away from the kids this far and this long. I love my kids and all but I'm already looking forward to our next getaway. :) This was a much needed "us" time.
We'll be gone for 4 nights so I had to prepare 4 dishes that the gang could heat up for dinner while we're away. Gotta make sure the family is fed well even when I'm away.
She received this at Christmas. And though she has not taken lessons yet, she likes to "play" it for her sisters while she sings to them. I think it's really cute!
The bugle playing taps. Pretty cool to witness a military funeral but also very emotional. The melancholy sound of the taps will be etched in my mind as one of the saddest sounds I've ever heard. It has hit close to home. That melody will be associated to loss forever in my head.
