Dem Ugly Shoes

>> Thursday, March 4, 2010

At the height of Crocs' popularity a few years ago, I *swore* I was not going to buy these ugly shoes. Here I am now, eating my words. I still find them ugly. And you will not catch me wearing these Crocs clogs. The girls are another matter. This is their special co-op/park day shoes. The playgrounds where we do co-op has a sand base. Wearing these instead of rubber shoes makes much more sense. We bring home much less sand! LOL! Flipflops are not advisable footwear for running around. When we tried that once, the kids ended up ditching their flipflops and running around in bare foot. Did not like that option. You just never know what's been left there or something.

About This Blog

This project began as a challenge to record my family's daily life for a year by taking one photo a day. It was not as successful as I wanted it to be.
After taking off for about a year, I am embarking on this photographic journey once more. I hope that these pictures will be visual cues to the memories we've built together as a family.
