We used to eat at Red Brick Pizza often a few years ago. This was our first time in a long while...and it may be the last one for an even longer time. Let's just say that it was not what we thought it would be. :( Too bad too because we were so excited to eat there on a Friday night.

I read somewhere that there is a Take 12 project - take 12 pictures on the 12th day of each month for the year 2012. So, here's my attempt at it. The 12th of this month fell on a Thursday. These pictures give a glimpse of what activities filled our day.

Boy Scouts

He is in Webelos II right now. It is the last level of Cub Scouts. When they earn their Arrow of Light award, they graduate to Boy Scouts. There will be a ceremony at the annual Blue & Gold banquet. He is very interested in continuing on to Boy Scouts. Their den attended their first Boy Scouts meeting tonight where they met the scouts they will be joining should they decide to continue their scouting adventure.

We've been having gorgeous days recently. It would have been such a waste of a beautiful day to be cooped inside the house. But we had school work to finish up. They beauty of home school? We can enjoy the outdoors even as we study.
